Illustration Friday: Fresh

Illustration Friday's topic only has me thinking of one thing. Nothing overshadows the ambience of a freshly soiled child. This is a quick pencil sketch colored in Painter. I didn't have time to come up with a completed piece, so I just went for the idea.

What a contrast ebtwen baby's and mom's faces! I love the way you depicted the "fresh" aroma! This is wonderful...it definitely tells a story. You have a really great ability to portray emotions through facial expressions and body poses.

Sometimes with a "strong" subject, all you need is a quick sketch to convey the idea and emotion! Excellent illo.
