Illustration Friday: Travel

Here's my next illustration for Illustration Friday's topic "Travel". My initial thought was that I wouldn't be able to come up with something funny for this topic... well, I ended up with something that was really fun to draw!

I love everything about this illo. The anxious father, the screaming mom-to-be, the dog at the back, and the cute turtle about to cross the road. ;o)

Would love to see more of your creations!

Thanks for all the nice comments! It means so much. By the way, the "very very best in the world" comment was from my 7 year old son. He's a bit partial.

The media used for this one was pen and ink, then colored in Painter 8.

You definitely came up with something funny! Those 50 miles look like they're more torture for him than her. And the dog is just enjoying himself to the max. Great solution and craftmanship.
